Wladimir Jakowlewitsch, russischer Folklorist, * Sankt Petersburg 29. 4. 1895, ✝ Leningrad 22. 8. 1970; war ab 1938 Professor in Leningrad, gilt mit seinen Arbeiten zur Struktur und Genese des Zaubermärchens (v. a. »Morfologija skazki«, 1928; deutsch »Morphologie des Märchens«) sowie mit den Monographien zum russischen Heldenepos (»Russkij geroičeskij ėpos«, 1955) und zu den russischen Landfesten (»Russkie agrarnye prazdniki«, 1963) als einer der Begründer der modernen strukturtypologischen Erforschung der Folklore.
